Do you have a story you’re burning to tell? Would you love to write a script, and hear it read by professional actors in Brighton?
Following our sold out 2021 and 2022 courses, we are very pleased to again be offering this year long programme, facilitated by two professional writers and lecturers, which will enable you to explore and develop your skills as a writer for both the stage and the screen. You’ll develop your voice as a dramatic writer, identify the story you’re passionate about and discover the best way to tell it.
Who Are We?
SARA CLIFFORD ( www.saraclifford.com and www.inroads.org.uk)
Sara has written over thirty-five plays including commissions for the Soho Theatre, York Theatre Royal and Nottingham Playhouse. As Writer/ Artistic Director of her company, Inroads, she works with local communities to create place-based work rooted in their stories, and has developed six site specific participatory pieces, including Two Pairs of Eyes in May 2022 at Newhaven Fort.
LISA FULTHORPE
Lisa’s a Brighton-based filmmaker with many years of experience telling compelling stories for TV and film. She runs her own production company Fireflyfilm.co.uk. Her most recent film, Booklovers, which she also directed, was screened at CineCity 2020 and won best horror short at Brighton Rocks Film Festival 2022.
