One day retreat

A special one day writing retreat, with acclaimed author, Heidi James

Join us for a wonderful opportunity to be part of a very special one day writing retreat in beautiful surroundings, away from the distractions of your everyday life.

New Writing South is pleased to be collaborating with acclaimed author Heidi James where she welcomes fellow writers for a whole day of writing and retreat in her unique home, a beautiful creative space on the edge of Crawley in West Sussex.

Your retreat

Heidi will be your tutor for a morning of guided writing activity with a focus on developing your writer’s voice and your confidence as an artist. She will also be your host for the whole day providing opportunities to spend time with other writers over delicious plant-based lunch and snacks, plus periods of total seclusion so you can write uninterrupted in spaces dotted around the sprawling gardens or in one of the many nooks and crannies around the house. There will also be chances for informal one-to-one chats with Heidi about writing practice in general and about your own work.
