Writers at Work is a scheme that brings creative writers into business. From poets to playwrights, soap writers to authors, the scheme works with professional writers to inspire a fresh approach to using language at work.
We have worked with all kinds of businesses in a variety of settings, from communications officers in the public sector, to accountants to estate agents.
Writers stimulate the imagination, provoke discussion and inspire creativity. A Writer at Work can also help you to take a fresh look at your business and the way you work.
Step 1: Consultation. We will visit you to discuss with you what you would like to get out of your session or sessions with a creative writer.
Step 2: Planning. Next we draw up a proposed programme, specifically created for your needs.
Step 3: Matching a writer. With a bank of professional, experienced creative writers including playwrights, TV and radio writers, journalists, stand-up comedians, motivational writers, novelists, poets and crime authors, we will be sure to find the right writer for you.
What next?
Each bespoke programme is tailored to your needs, including length and frequency of workshops. Programmes can range from a 90-minute lunchtime creative injection, to a day workshop with your team, to a writer in residence.
