New Writing SouthPlaywright
New Writing South is looking for an experienced playwright to lead the third year of our flagship young persons project - Chichester Young Playwrights.
Run in partnership with Chichester Festival Theatre, the project works with up to 16 young writers aged 16- 25, bi-weekly for 10 sessions starting in September 2011, to give professional guidance, nurturing and encouragement to a group of young writers as they start to write for performance.
The playwright will have been performed professionally, have experience of mentoring/ working with young people, and feel passionate about developing the aspiring writers of tomorrow.
