Signposts

Signposts is a Sheffield-based literature organisation supporting writers through a programme of writing workshops, a website and writers' resource centres in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. It works with experienced writers, beginner writers and those who don't consider themselves as writers at all. It also writes, publishes and distributes The Inky: Writers Newsletter.

The Poetry Business

The Poetry Business is a nationally significant poetry publisher based in Sheffield. It publishes poetry pamphlets, books and audio material along with the literary magazine The North. It provides writing development through workshops, monthly writing days and a writing school. Its annual book and pamphlet competition is an important feature in the literary calendar.

Script Yorkshire

Script Yorkshire (formerly Yorkshire Playwrights) is the region’s only support and advocacy organisation for script writers across performance and broadcast media. Run democratically by writers for writers, it puts the needs of members at the very core of its activity, developing both their practice and their industry connections.
