The company have commissioned very few new plays. Usually musicals and with playwrights whose work has been produced at The Mill previously.
Submissions Protocol
They do not accept unsolicited scripts. Please telephone the Mill's admin number: 0118 9696039 if you are thinking of submitting a new play. Talk to Sally Hughes, the Artistic Director, to see if it is something that is right for The Mill audience. The company are a small, unsubsidised commercial theatre and although approximately 3 of our 9 productions a year are premieres, they have to be commercial and affordable.
