New Writing SouthOur Education Policy
We aim to:
- Inspire and develop
new writing talent within the wider community by reaching
out to school children, socially excluded groups and those
for whom creative writing is potentially empowering.
- Engage in innovative projects
in partnership with educational and community establishments
and arts practitioners
- Facilitate the development
of skills and opportunities for existing creative writers.
- Advocate for new writing
in the region and seek to identify new, cross media integration between
drama, novels, e-literature and literature performance.
- Bring teachers and writers together to
explore new approaches to creative writing in the classroom.
- Facilitate an information and advice resource.
