Writers at Large!
This all-day event will present a wide variety of sessions to give you the chance to meet an exciting array of speakers and guests, including literary agents, publishing professionals and professional development guides - all aimed to help you get your work out into the world.
Writers at Large! is an opportunity to get involved and learn about effective marketing and networking strategies, how to get the most out of the web and social media, and a chance to learn about copyright law. The day will also enable you to gain professional tips and insights from top agents and how mentoring and manuscript reading can help you.
If you’re after a little 1:1 attention for your writing, Writers at Large! will be offering short intensive surgeries with professionals.
As part of the day there will be an opportunity to network with other writers and to hear a keynote panel debate State of the Industry, where those within the publishing / bookselling world give us their thoughts as to what is happening in the publishing industry today, where it is heading and what authors should know about the business (and future) of publishing.
Joining us on the day will be representatives from The Literary Consultancy, The Writers' Guild, MBA Literary Agency, Random House, Alma Books, John Wiley Publishing and United Agents.

Where: Learning & Conference Centre, Jubilee Library, Jubilee Square, Brighton.
