Page Fright
(and how to overcome it)
with Morag Joss
Morag Joss’s workshop takes a fresh and surprising look at the entire notion of “inspiration” that will dispel the terror (familiar to all writers) of the blank page or empty screen. Looking at the role of craft versus genius, through a combination of exercises, discussion and a lot of fun, she explodes the myth that great ideas “just come”.
This workshop will enable participants to explore and put to practical use the underrated fact that beyond the blank page and jaded imagination lies a world accessible to all writers - a world teeming with places, people, human predicament and possibilities for fiction. Aspiring beginners and practising writers wishing to revitalise work in progress are equally welcome.
