A new 'introduction to playwriting' programme
New Writing South and Brighton Dome and Festival present a new 11-week ‘Introduction to Playwriting’ course led by Ola Animashawun from the Royal Court Theatre and director of new writing company Euphoric Ink.
Following the course, which runs over five Saturday’s from September to December 2010, some of the plays created will be developed and performed in the Pavilion Theatre.
No previous writing experience is necessary.
Ola Animashawun has 25 years experience of working in theatre, with 15 years specialist experience in the field of play writing workshops and script development. He is an Associate Director of the Royal Court Theatre. Ola is Artistic Associate at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, a Freelance Presenter, Script Editor/Advisor and Outdoor Theatre Producer.
