Inspiring ideas, developing writers, creating connections

Writing Development

We work dynamically and creatively with a range of partnership organisations, regionally and nationally, to develop new writing career opportunities, encourage new theatre writing commissions, initiate different creative projects and set up writer residencies.

Master classes, workshops and courses from leading professional practitioners provide a lively and inspirational forum for exploration of themes, media, craft and skills. (In recent years: Ken Campbell, Mark Ravenhill, April de Angelis, David Eldridge, Annie Castledine, Max Stafford Clarke and literary managers from the National Theatre, Bush and Paines Plough)
