Working with us
It’s easy to book a professional writer to work creatively with your students.
Step 1: Consultation.
Our Creative Learning Manager will discuss with you what you hope to get from having a writer in your school. Please note that the consultation process is free and without obligation.
Step 2: Planning and costing
The Creative Learning Manager will take all the information from the consultation and draw up an outline plan with costs attached. New Writing South is a not-for-profit organisation, so charges are calculated to cover the writers time and expenses, plus a small amount for our administration. The plan is negotiable and the link teachers will be fully consulted throughout.
Step 3: Matching a writer
With a core team of twenty seven professional writers, including playwrights, TV and radio writers, authors , journalists and poets we are sure to be able to find the best writer for your school.
If you would like to find out more about our creative learning work, or to speak to the Creative Learning Manager, Anna Jefferson, please get in touch. Email Anna or call on 01273 735353.
