Writing Together Courses and Workshops
Specialised workshops,
held over a period of months with small groups of members. These courses
provide a lively and inspirational forum for exploration of themes, media,
craft and skills and aim towards each writer having a finished product
for the marketplace. Members receive a special discounted rate for all our workshops/events.
Professional Script Reading
Members can benefit from a subsidised service that provides professional unbiased report
on their scripts. This enables writers to "test" the market and gain valuable
feedback - plus, reports may lead to further development work
with New Writing South.
Skill Sharing and Mentoring
In house workshops to share
professional experience in particular media, such as screenwriting or writing
for young people, we also run a mentoring service.

Side Shows presents rehearsed
readings and showcase performances of member's work.
