Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor
Director

Chris Taylor is passionate about new writing. A former arts publicist and theatre consultant she has worked with numerous companies including Paines Plough, the Bush, National Theatre, Birmingham Film Festival, Greenwich Theatre, the Young Vic, the Royal Opera House, the Roundhouse and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has produced Ken Campbell's 24 hour play - The Warp, seasons of plays and a short film.


Anna Jefferson

Anna Jefferson
Creative Learning Manager

Anna has several years experience managing arts projects. She joined New Writing South from Brighton based company, South East Dance where she worked as Press and Media Manager. She writes for Broken Leg Theatre, a company she set up in March 2008 with co-director, Emily James. They have performed one play and are currently in development of the second piece. Anna has run script writing workshops with 7- 16 year olds with Little Green Pig, a creative writing organisation, she also sits on their Board. Her academic background is theatre and journalism.

 

Mark Bryant

Mark Bryant
Operations Manager

Mark joined New Writing South in September 2008. Prior to this he worked in various positions in the public and voluntary sectors, and most recently at Arts Council England where he worked in Advocacy and Communications. He is passionate about the arts, in particular music, photography and contemporary visual art and theatre. Mark is a keen photographer and writes his own music.
